Matco Inc. announces the release of its DVRC-TI Series H.264 DSP Hardware Compression video capture card. The DVRC-TI series DVR cards applies advanced video compression technology for video recording and transmission. The DSP (Digital Signal Processor) compresses the input video signals into H.264 format, which is the latest ISO video compression standard. The H.264 file is only 1/3 size of MPEG-4, it delivers excellent video quality across the entire bandwidth spectrum - from 3G to HD and everything in between (from 40 Kbps to upwards of 10 Mbps). Since the video signal is processed by hardware, no video processing program is operated by PC, no PC resource (CPU, RAM) is consumed, so that any current PC can be used for real-time video recording and real time remote monitoring for each channel.
